Anastasia Vinnikova

 UK Head of Workplace Wellbeing

Anastasia is Head of Workplace Wellbeing at the City Mental Health Alliance UK, where she works closely with our members and strategic partners in the UK, providing strategic leadership and management of the UK Thriving at Work programme.

A passionate mental health and inclusion advocate, Anastasia previously led the wellbeing agenda at the Bank of England, and spent 2 years on the Commission for Equality in Mental Health with the Centre for Mental Health . Currently, Anastasia sits on the Samaritans Policy, Partnerships and Research Committee as a Lived Experience Advisor, as well as acting as a Lived Experience Advisor on their Online Excellence Programme. Anastasia is a Trustee of InspireUK , a new charity aiming to provide accessible mental health therapies. A strong belief in the importance of equitable and inclusive mental health support, and a firm motivation in working for public good have been a motivating factor in each of these roles.

Anastasia’s passion for mental health stems from lived experience – she is open about the journey from hiding her challenges, to sharing her story to encourage others to seek help and support. Anastasia shares her personal experiences, as well as her professional expertise as a contributing thought-leader in many conferences, publications and podcasts (such as The Conduct and Culture in Financial Services Forum, the Financial Times Adviser, the Royal Society for Public Health, and others).

Anastasia has been recognised for her contribution to the world of mental health. She is named on the InsideOut Emerging Leaderboard, was shortlisted by This Can Happen for a Future Leader Award, and for a Women of the Future Award for Community Spirit. Anastasia won ‘highly commended’ for the Storyteller Award at the 2021 InsideOut Awards, and won the Breaking the Silence Award at the Not a Red Card Awards in 2020.
