Open Event:  The CMHA invites parents and carers to the launch of The Parent's Toolkit; an important resource produced in collaboration with leading mental health organisations, designed to help you support the mental health of children and young people.

Concern for the mental health and wellbeing of our children and young people is at an all time high. One in six children (5 in every classroom) has a diagnosable mental illness (source ), while mental health services continue to be stretched. Join us for a conversation about how we can better understand, protect and support their mental health.

We will hear personal stories and expert insight from Place2Be, Young Minds and The Pears Maudsley Centre for Children and Young People. Learn about the signs to look out for, how to respond, support and direct to the treatments available to help their recovery.

The CMHA has written this toolkit with members PwC, Morgan Stanley and the Bank of England.  This is an issue that is impacting parents and carers across your organisations. Please do share this with employees / parents and carer networks and Mental Health Champion networks.

With special thanks to PwC, Morgan Stanley and the Bank of England for their support of the Parent's Toolkit and launch event.
