Are you in the first few years of your career?  Would you like to learn more about how to support your own mental health and wellbeing in the workplace?

The CMHA and the CMHA’s Thriving From The Start Network are inviting you to a discussion about why and how we should prioritise mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. As the COVID 19 pandemic impacted almost everyone’s wellbeing, it’s more important than ever to build our skills and knowledge in this area.  You will hear from:


Anastasia Vinnikova , Wellbeing Lead at the Bank of England and also Committee member for the Thriving From The Start Network, will share insights from her experience of living with poor mental health and unhealthy perfectionism. And about how she and her employer have worked togethersince the start of her career to ensure that she can thrive

Brian Heyworth , Global Head of Institutional Business, HSBC Asset Management and also Chair of the CMHA, will share his experience of ill mental health from a young age and his recovery. He will also talk about why mental health awareness is an increasingly important leadership skill

Jaan Madan , an experienced CMHA mental health trainer, will share a simple and effective tool to support you to manage your wellbeing needs

The event will be facilitated by Farimah Darbyshire, CMHA Early Careers Health Programme Lead.
