Covid-19 has created unprecedented and immediate challenges to the needs of our workforce and businesses.

This course has been designed to cover the three key areas ensuring HR professionals and Line Managers are prepared and confident to respond effectively, appropriately and with compassion:

  • Exploring the impact of change - applying effective planning through uncertainty whilst supporting the immediate needs across the workforce
  • Developing an understanding of common responses to stress and anxiety alongside building confidence in how to respond and support the needs of your people
  • Responding and supporting those affected by the loss of a loved one or a colleague; understanding the impact of grief and building confidence to have supportive and appropriate conversations

Learning outcomes

 By the end of the course, participants will:

  • Understand the change curve and apply appropriate strategies to support employees through change and uncertainty
  • Spot the signs and behaviours associated with anxiety and stress to enable early intervention
  • Understand the impact of the grief response and behaviours associated to this process in the workplace
  • Confidently and appropriately respond to employees experiencing anxiety, stress, depression and grief
